To setup your account, visit http://login.upou.edu.ph and click the link on the right side of the page where it says create an account now. This will take you to a sign up form where you'll fill up a few details about yourself. They are listed below:
- Account Type - Pick between Student or Faculty/Staff
- Username - For students, this is your student number without the dash. For employees, this is your 9-digit employee number
- Password - Choose a password that is at least 8 characters long. To make it difficult to guess, here's some hints:
- Do not use your name, your spouse's or children's name
- Use a combination of letters, numbers and symbols
- Do not use a word that can be found in the dictionary
- First Name - If you have two or more names, you can use your nickname here
- Last Name - Use only your last name. Drop your maiden/middle name.
- Birthdate
- ZIP Code - Use your residential ZIP code
- Country
- Verification code - This simple test allows us to determine if a human is signing up, as compared to an automatic script. Most humans will be able to pass this this, but an automated script will not.
